Pasadena Dance Theatre (PDT) Conservatory is a non-profit organization whose mission is to support, foster and advance the art of dance through professional performances and educational programs.

In 1997, PDT's Conservatory opened its current facility in central Pasadena under the artistic leadership of Cynthia Young and Laurence Blake. The facility houses PDT's conservatory training program and provides rehearsal space for its professional company. Students trained in its Conservatory continue to dance, choreograph and teach professionally around the world.

PDT's Conservatory is an integral part of the arts community where students and dance professionals explore, nurture, create and discover the blending of music and movement through both classical ballet and contemporary training culminating in innovative concerts and performances.

Pasadena Dance Theatre’s outreach program is committed to expanding access to the
Conservatory to students from groups traditionally underrepresented in ballet.  PDT presents low-cost theater performances to schoolchildren and also maintains a scholarship program for underserved youth.

As such, the Pasadena Dance Theatre Conservatory welcomes your support of its programs and performances throughout the year!
